Does anybody have any photos relating to the duckmanton workshops & or the road transport based at markham colliery. Both my dad & grandad worked there, my grandad was the cable lorry driver. I cannot find any on the internet & just wondered if anybody had any links. Kind Regards

Ayup ncb 1973 maybe its worth having a look at Neil Bridgewater;s site old miner.co.uk he was a local pit trician i think a Bowsa lad, av a gander he has loads of info and maybe you can contact him i'm sure he'll know or know some one with info,if your an Inky lad you can always ask Dave Malia he worked at the workshops ,i have no photo's,Johnny Rayner is another lad and so is Johnny Robinson from Tibby way he is an ex pit lad who researches the history.
