Thanks to the Welsh Coal Mines Forum I found this: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p00jv72t/Reel_History_of_Britain_Britains_Black_Diamonds/OK, Melvyn Bragg's an irritating little **t, but otherwise it wasn't bad. It was filmed at Big Pit, Blaenavon, which if you didn't already know, is SUPERB!! I loved Bragg's comment that "temperatures underground could reach 80 degrees fahrenheit"!! Our's wasn't a hot pit but we still measured 115 degrees F in the tailgate one summer night. PS, I'm wondering if the new verification after a failed log in is responsible for the lack of posts on here recently?

What new verification?? As far as I'm aware, nothings changed.
It's still summer, it's always slow over the summer period.
