I hope this will be of some use to the board members.
Anyone who claimed compensation for VWF or COPD a few years back could have either had their claim undersettled by the solicitor in their rush to process as many claims as possible - or their solicitor could have taken money from the settlement without telling their client.
Miners can still find out if this is the case and reclaim compensation owed or deducted, up to £10k in some cases.
Check out www.minerscompensation.org.uk for more info. Run by The Entitlements Agency, any miner can find out for free if they are due more money and get it claimed back.
