I am ex Deputy Manager at Bickershaw Colliery and Trentham. I am giving a free talk to British Heart Foundation on Coal Mining and would like to show some underground footage of both old mining and modern mining techniques. Does anyone know where I can get a DVD?

I am giving a free talk to British Heart Foundation on Coal Mining and would like to show some underground footage of both old mining and modern mining techniques. Does anyone know where I can get a DVD? There are always some coal mining related DVDs up for grabs on eBay, not always well described content though. search.ebay.co.uk/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=coal+mining+dvdCopy / paste the full address above into a browser search to go directly to related videos) Another possibility is to contact the National Coal Mining museum at Caphouse, I would suggest making contact with the Librarian Curator, they may also have DVDs for sale in the Museum Shop. curatorial.librarian@ncm.org.uk www.ncm.org.uk/index.asp
