was you at cotgrave when it opened? if you was do you remember a George Boultby? he retired from cotgrave then volunteered at the miners welfare in cotgrave till he died. he used to live in a bungalow on forest close but he died in 1979. i am trying to find his work history.

No sorry Pauline, I was there for a few months after Clifton closed in 1968 and left after I'd completed my apprenticeship in November of 68. Trev Shaw may recall him, Trev was at Cotgrave very early in the pit's life.
