Hi,
I am an ex Miner from the Lancs area. I worked at the Bickershaw Complex, Agecroft & finally Parkside colliery.
I was one of the last intake of apprentices to be taken on by British Coal in 1987.
My last shift was in Oct 1992. I have since become a video director in the music industry but was commissioned last year by the heritage Lottery fund to make a film about the impact of the strike in Miners from Wigan (my home town)
