Two things Mick, and I've put a few websites together for my self over the years, red and blue clash terribly, very hard on the eyes, and blue text on a red background is almost impossible to read, as is red on a blue background. Blue text on a black background is impossible, but some webmasters just don't get it. I tend to play around with colours for a while before I upload pages, If I can read it OK, then I think everyone else has a fair chance, check my page at..... coalcollieryandmining.110mb.com/It's not perfect, but are any sites, I am rebuilding this site from ground up and I'm playiing with the right colours to make pages readable over B&W photos and colour photos. Also, I find a site with no advertisements also helps, there are a few free hosting sites without ads. The one I use is 110mbs.com.
When you put a page together, ask the missus to check it out, they are very picky!!! ;D
