Alan Andrews asked me to help, so placing an email he received about a film exhibition on coal mining in the 20th century in the UK. Anyone interested make contact with the address/telephone number below.
My name is Julia Evans and I am contacting regarding your involvement with the Miner's Reunited Website
I am part of the Marketing Department here at the British Film Institute.
From September we shall be starting a season titled KING COAL, which is part of a 3 year UK project titled, THIS WORKING LIFE, celebrating the UK 's 20th Century Industrial Heritage.
The King Coal programme showcases some remarkable material drawn from the BFI National Archive's documentary and fiction collections. Many of the screening will be presented by leading figures associated with the films and curators from the National Archive.
We were wondering if this might interest your visitors and subscribers and if you were interested in helping us publicise the season by posting information on your website.
