I am probably the only person to read the small print, no commercial activities :-)
Well here is my list:
Well part of it. I am now told it was more than 10k so I have to shorten it :-)
THE FOREST OF DEAN IN THE MINING JOURNAL AND OTHER REFERENCES by Tony Oldham [2002] 34 pp illus. One of my favourite pastimes is reading The Mining Journal. I started at the beginning, Vol 1 1835 and being a slow reader, I have only got as far as 1851, although I have flittered through later journals as well. Using quantity as a yardstick, rather than quality I tend to rate each entry by length instead of content. Often, I have quoted verbatim, and if I remember, this is enclosed in inverted commas. Col or column refers to the length, or part of the length of a page, about 16 inches. I have used the £ sign instead of the small letter L [cf lamina] and tried to retain original punctuation. Three full stops, [thus ... ] denotes a Mogadon attack or lack of interest and I have omitted a small or large chunk of text. > This bibliography not only covers the Forest of Dean Mines, but includes its mine workers, mine owners, the Mushets - the legendary iron smelters, and to a lesser extent the railways. This is not just a boring index but a pot-pourri of anecdotes, like the two men who survived a 510 foot plunge down a shaft when the rope broke. How? Sorry, you will have to buy the book! SB £3.50 post free. > >THE MINES OF THE FOREST OF DEAN and surrounding areas by Tony Oldham [2000] 65 pp surveys illus etc. Includes Coal, Iron and even a Gold Mine! A gazetteer which lists all the mines together with brief descriptions, NGR etc. Companion edition to the above and to Caves of the FoD. SB £7.50 .[£8.50 post free] > >A PARTIAL INDEX TO THE MINING JOURNAL 1835 TO 1855 / and other mining references by Tony Oldham 41 pp millions of references, mainly Wales, but includes odd references to such exotic areas as: Avon [=Bristol coal field], Bishopston Silver Lead Mines, Devon, Ireland, Mendip Hills, Silver-lead mines, The Paull family (Cornish mine Captains) etc. SB £4.00 > >Also available on disc. A more useable format as one can do word search etc. 3.5" WinWord6 format for £3.00 . > >THE CAVES AND MINES OF THE SYCHRYD GORGE by Keith Jones April 1992 Part 9 in the series Limestones and Caves of South Wales. 43 pp 15 surveys and maps, 5 photographs / illustrations. This account presents detailed information on all the known caves and mines of the Sychrhyd Gorge. This enchantingly beautiful area is found at the head of the Vale of Neath, 3 kilometres north east of Glyn Neath near the village of Pont Nedd Fechan. The limestone gorge is 500 metres long and is located on the downstream end of the River Sychryd just before its confluence with the River Mellte, and is guarded by one magnificent portal- the famous Dinas Rock. SB £5.00 > >THE CAVES AND MINES OF ANGLESEY by Tony Oldham January 2001 vi + 36 pp illus surveys. Anglesey is overshadowed by the great Parys Mountain copper mine. This book describes many of the smaller mines including the long forgotten coal mines at Berw. Usual gazetteer style: name, ngr description and references. SB £4.00 . > > >THE MINING JOURNAL 1860 / An Index of British and Irish Mines and Mining Companies Compiled by Peter Claughton 1995 47 pp SB £3.00 pf > >A WELSH MINING BIBLIOGRAPHY FROM CURRENT TITLES IN SPELEOLOGY by Tony Oldham 1997 27 pp This bibliography is compiled from the card index which was used by Ray Mansfield when compiling Current Titles in Speleology. CTS, as I shall now call it was published from 1969 to 1992 when it was taken over by the Swiss based Speleological Abstracts. Consequently a lot of ephemera, newspaper cuttings and mining information was omitted. I have enriched the card index by adding the contents of my mining library, most of which is Welsh orientated. >There is some duplication with Roger Burt's Bibliography of the History of British Mining and the British Mining History Bibliography published by the Peak District Mines Historical Society Ltd, alas, no longer published. No attempt has been made [yet] to incorporate these works. I make no apologies for the caving bias of this bibliography. Cavers do explore mines and mines are found in caves and vice versa. >This bibliography was created using Microsoft ACCESS. Consequently it is also available on disk, and when one has access to ACCESS one can then carry out all sorts of exciting searches, print queries, correct my spelling mistakes and add your own data. SB £4.00pf > >or on disc £3.00 > >A TOUR IN WALES by Thomas Pennant 1784 reprinted 1991 2 vols 488 + 498 pp 26 plates. Again as well as the usual topographical descriptions Pennant vividly describes the "vaft copper mine on Anglesey", amongst others. nb An original could cost you £200 or more. HB DW the two vols for £60.00 > >By popular request - the abbreviations: >HB = Hard Bound, usually in publisher's cloth; SB = Soft bound; DW = Dust wrapper; G = Good; VG = Very Good etc. pf post free > >MINER'S CARBIDE LAMP REFERENCE compiled by Paul L Kouts all SB £3.00 each except Vol 11 @ £10.00 >Vol 1 1981 20 pp A search of US Patent records. HB sunned £35.00 > >MYNACHLOG-DDU / Pembrokeshire / A Guide to its Antiquities by E T Lewis 1972 73 pp 12 photos map etc. Photo of Tyrch Quarrymen nearly 70 years ago. HUNGRY HILL by Daphne du Maurier 1943 328 pp Don’t be fooled by the fact that this is fiction, because it is based on fact and is a gripping tale of intrigue, fabulous wealth and disaster. Daphne du Maurier spent a considerable amount of time with the Puxley family researching this volume. The Berehaven Copper Mines become the fictional Hungry Hill. The founder of the real mines: John Puxley is called Copper John and the place names have also been changed: Berehaven becomes Doonhaven; Dunboy - Clonmere; Bantry - Mundy; Swansea - Bronsea; Bere Island - Doon Island; Cork - Slane; Llethrllestry - Lletharrog etc. A really good read which will make you want to visit the area for yourself. >THE MINES OF IRELAND by Tony Oldham [June 2003] i + 45 pp, surveys. Until the publication of the first edition of this book some years ago, very little was known about the mines of Ireland. By researching scientific [and the not so scientific] journals I have accumulated a wealth of information on the mines both north and south of the border from Bronze age to present day. For each mine a short description is given, followed by a list of references, and if known the NGR. A recent visit describes the present day remains. I have also attempted to provide eejit proof directions for finding the mines. Useful reference work. SB £6.00 post free > >MINES OF IRELAND is also available on a floppy disc. This is on my Caving Book list, but there is quite a bit on mining. RSVP if you need more information. MUNDUS SUBTERRANEUS in XII Libros digestus by Athanasii Kircheri 2004 being a reprint of the 1678 third edition. 22 + 366 + [6] + 507 +[9] pp. 13 x 10 inches and nearly 3 inches thick this is a very heavy tome weighing nearly 5 kilos. Kircher was a German Jesuit scholar and was famous for his scientific work. His publications mark the end of alchemy and the start of modern science. Historically this is the most important book on caves and hydrology. It contains important early description of the Antiparos Cave, Ghar Kebir and the Drachenhöhle. His hydrological hypotheses are the basis for present day theories on karst hydrology along with his explanation of the Cerknica lake, intermittent springs, formation of speleothems, and springs from both sea water and rain. This is a nicely produced volume at a fraction of the cost of the third edition. I can't see any problems Tony, as long as what you have to sell is personal and not commercial. Now if Mike who owns a used bookstore were advertising books as against reviewing them, that could be a violation of commercial advertising clauses.
I think what the host is doing, is protecting their clients, the commercial advertisers, who make these sites possible.

Forthcoming book, " 104 Men" I know that a great deal of heartfelt effort has gone into researching and producing this book, note the declaration that profits from its sale will be donated to mining history education charities. More comment when I have read my pre-ordered copy. www.hayloft.org.uk/104%20Men.html
