Very little to see in fife. Castle bridge colliery but you can't wander in for a wee look, boghall mine, it's worth a wee visit cos you can root about in the site and explore the remains, I found manhole numbers for me and a couple of neighbours in my street, you have the frances head gear but it's all fenced in and the Mary pit headgear at lochore,in the wemyss area it's all gone. Except for my wee shed, I have a model pit with a village called ersend which is serviced by the wemyss private railway. The excellent fife mining museum at king lassie is now sadly closed because some low life's broke in and nicked a lot of stuff, this is a crying shame because all the folk connected to it were brilliant , they worked really hard to establish a top rate museum and it probaIbly has been injected into various body parts or crammed into some scumbags nose.
