Bestwood colliery, vertical steam winder in the old engine house and headstocks.
Brinsley Colliery, the old tandem headgear, restored and returned to the site where it originally worked. Near Eastwood, to the north west of Nottingham.
Annesley Colliery headstocks, winding engine houses and buildings.

John, I went to Rufford Country Park today, I travelled past Clipstone Colliery site. The Headstocks are still standing. I don't know what the long term plans are regarding them though.

I couldn't swear to it Bill, but I think I read somewhere that the headgear and engine house at Clipstone were (or are) Listing Buildings with a preservation order. What I do know is that there is a pretty deep hole beneath at least one of em, 1,000 yards I believe.

Thats good news then, lets hope they do have a preservation order! There's been a lot of speculation about the headstocks for a long time John. There is a protection order in place but I think the villagers voted to have them removed. Somebody else may have more up to date information.
