The North finder is an instrument that uses the basic characteristics of gyro and measures the earth's rotation rate to determine the meridian direction (true north direction) of the point where the carrier is located. It has the characteristics of high orientation accuracy, short measurement time, no restriction of climate conditions, and can be directed independently at any time and place (except high latitude areas).
