I'm a volunteer at Pleasley Pit & we have a Pikrose compressed air two speed type 2 haulage that needs restoring. Does anyone have any manuals/instructions that may be copied. Costs will be reimbursed. Don't know if it just wants freeing up(trying on air) or a full strip down. Just like to gain a bit of information before starting. Thanks in advance.

Just my opinion, but with it's age and probably been sitting around for years, I wouldn't pressurize it until it's been totally checked out by a fitter. Again, I'd say have it stripped down, cleaned up and any faulty seals replaced, chances are the bearings may need replacing, depending on how it was stored over the years.
There must be dozens of old pit fitters around the town who could donate their time to look it over and advise what needs to be done to bring it back to working condition. Put the word out on your local radio station, print some flyers and post them in the local shops.
Good luck!!
