Recent changes to Government policy have indicated that the UK is moving away from the "green economy" and undoing the damage inflicted upon the UK by the EU and this includes attacking, and closing down many former UK industries which relied upon coal, but recent actions such as the Government bailing out the UK steel industry to the tune of £300M and the opening of a new coal deep mine suggest the tide is turning.
EU agendas dictated that no member state could be self sufficient and this meant closing many core industries down across the EU and making each member state reliant upon other member states for many things ranging from food to fuel and this policy was a politically motivated move from a hardcore of EU unelected officials to seize power for themselves to take control of the EU for their now well known socialist agenda, and this had been likened to that of the Nazis of WW II and this claim has credible evidence to substantiate it, and this was done using a nefarious tactic of something called "global warming" and when it was proven that the world was NOT warming, this was changed to "climate change" in the hope it would go unnoticed. Using this deliberately conceived idea meant the EU could apply fear and scaremongering and they did, their latest strategy is to use their agents to proclaim a "climate disaster" and anyone looking into it will see there is no credible evidence to substantiate this, so where does this leave the UK.
Currently, the UK will open a new coal mine and will continue making steel, but this goes much further as new technologies will allow the UK to burn coal cleanly and to gasify coal and burn this gas in clean combustion technology power stations to provide electricity, and continue to use gas in industry and as a home fuel for heating and cooking. Currently, investigations are ongoing to access the current coal reserves and produce other fuels from them such as oil, petrol, and diesel to power industry and agriculture, and to plant many more trees to absorb this CO2 and create a carbon neutral (not free) economy, and they are looking at reopening at least three coal mines in the near future, and possibly many more will follow.
