Howdy,
Found a big gnarly Anthracite seam out in the Owyhee Mountains on leaseable lands. I know jack about coal and leasing costs and equipment are prohibitive to small-time prospectors. Any tips on finding coal savvy folks to partner with to get in on the mining game? I can round up investors but I need to get intouch with someone who is up on methods, costs, business, etc. As Reference I found a surface protrusion up a nasty slot canyon and managed to track down a few more as far away as 6 miles. The seam is between 8ft and 12ft thick at all 7 protrusions I found.
Thanks

I'll have some good pictures this weekend, going out again to get good coordinates and plot everything out. I found sattelite photos of two of the most visible slots on google maps and I can send those as well. If you want more information PM me and I'll email you. I have samples off to an assay lab so I will have moisture and mineral content shortly.
