Hello, I am new here and know very little to nothing about mining, however, I have been tasked to help a computer illiterate friend with finding a battery for a piece of mining equipment. I am looking for a used battery for a GE Fairchild wasp tail scoop. I have looked everywhere and I swear there is not a single website that has used GE Fairchild mining equipment listed. Is the stuff just that new that it doesn't exist right now? Are they not a popular piece of mining equipment in the first place? Why can't I seem to find anything? Any information would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Sorry never heard of one, I'm presuming it's a large piece of machinery If so, would it have the same sort of batteries used in electric forklifts?? Or battery locomotives?? Just a thought. You might get the battery details, volts, AHr capacity, physical size, terminal types and do a search for traction batteries on the internet. The dealers will probably be able to help. Another option would be to contact GE Fairchild, most manufacturers are only too happy to assist.
