Looks like Sirius's North Yorks Potash will also be mothballed?

I've been saying it's all a pipe dream for months now Max. As I've stated in other posts on a thread here, I remember when I first started at Boulby, there were several projects on the books down Whitby way, big plans for mines bigger than Boulby, I for one was hoping they'd take off, as my pay could have doubled!! Those were times when potash prices were pretty high and there was a market for the product!! I could see Sirius was "biting off more than they could chew" I'd like to bet a lot of the blokes I worked with at Boulby were shaking their heads when Sirius were boldly laying their plans out. It took CPL a few years before they showed any profit, we were in the unknown with some conditions nobody had experienced before, and Sirius was in newer territory, much deeper, much hotter, probably gas problems and who knows what roof and convergence problems they were likely to face???
I can see the owners of Boulby buying Sirius's northern leases in the not too distant future and a lot of disappointed investors who lost a lot of money in the near future. Mining companies come and go, speculate and lose a lot of someone else's money.
