Is it from a handwritten document and is it clearly written, i.e. no chance it could be something other than what it first appears to be?

yes hand writen but clear 1891 census barnsley age 15 Can't think of anything that it could be, had it been really badly written originally,or, poorly transcribed I might have had a guess at Ginny Work, (Jinny Work,Genny or Jenny) but I've never heard "Tammy Wake" used in the Barnsley area, sorry I can't help, good luck, it'll be interesting to know what it does mean though.
