Reading posts on the Welsh site it appears that tygwyn has suffered a heart attack and is in hospital at the moment, hope all goes well for him and that he's back up and around shortly.

Sounds as though tygwyn is back home, think he's had the equivalent of a "reusable end" fitted to one of his "baggins", trust he will be posting on here shortly with the technical details. Good news all round, just hope he takes it steady from now on.

I used to be a goat farmer, busiest time was when they were kidding, although most does dropped their kids with no problems, there's always one! I think Jim keeps pigs and a couple of horses, lot of work!

Thanks bois bach, Back home last night after having a stent fitted about 4in from heart,it only took 30mins on local anaesthetic, could see most of it being done at the time on the screen with 9 separate section photo`s,the surgeon explained the full process afterwards, one could see the red fluid they pumped in flowing through the artery, and the collapsed part,a balloon blowing back up the collapse and a steel stent being pulled into place,it was like repairing an heading, lol.
Like you say John, difficult when you have stock,40 cattle,35 pigs ,the 10 ponies are fine over the fields plenty of grass and shelter,it was the cattle and pigs housed that was the worry, but the person that insisted on driving me to hospital jumped in head first with her partner to look after the stock,i knew they would`nt cope,as they had no experience, but at least the tried, and even found a young man to help,i met him today, otherwise i would have been in the s--t,as no neighbour or family member was concerned.
Anyway, must pack up the fags,as it seems that must be the problem as my Cholestrol is way down, even though i do like the chip and frying pan.

Nice to see you back Jim, I gave the fags away around 40 years ago now, I just stopped overnight after seeing a show on the Beeb one night about what it does to the body. Was about the fourth and final attempt. Previous I lasted a year before I gave in to the urge, I was gasping for a drag one night and gave in to it. Even now, after all those years I get the urge sometimes, problem is, it would kill me now, I've become allergic to tobacco smoke, I cannot breathe around smokers now, bit like a severe asthmatic attack, even though I don't suffer from asthma.
