I remember having a flat tyre on my mk1 escort at the end of a shift at wheldale, I'd only been there a few weeks and didn't really know anyone but along came Barry, took the wheel spanner off me and changed the wheel, made a big impression on me, always remember the 'big lad' cos of that.....RIP Barry

Just joined group and saw messagw about barry ,last time i saw him he was arguing with woman in garage that the pump was wrong as it showed he had put more petrol in than his tank held dont know what outcome was but he seemed pretty determined . remember him arguing with steve osbourn about why there was a hole half way up a bic pen barry had the stronger argument also a decent right hook that ended the argument .
