Poor feller, he probably won't survive that accident, with todays pressures being in excess of 4Kpsi.. There was a contractor killed at Angus Place Colliery a couple of years back, there is an accumulator on the high pressure line, the feller was apparently taking samples of the hydraulic fluid and hadn't isolated the high pressure line from the accumulator and got the full pressure in his head..HP hydraulics is a killer.

I haven't seen any further updates since the first set of news reports two days ago

I haven't seen any further updates since the first set of news reports two days ago I tried a search yesterday and came up much the same Daz, he will be very ill, I can't see anyone surviving those type of injuries. It was only a matter of time though before someone got hurt from a damaged hose.

I haven't seen any further updates since the first set of news reports two days ago No further info on his condition. He's been named and is from Mansfield Woodhouse. I'm not repeating his name on here John / Daz.
