 HELP!!
« Thread Started on Oct 16, 2009, 6:18pm »

I'm in the process of redesigning the webpage, Coal, Collieries and Mining.http://coalcollieryandmining.110mb.com/
I'm looking for any and all material on UK coal mining that I can get hold of. Stories, photos both underground and surface of ANY colliery.
I'd also appreciate copies of the old NCB booklets on the areas and divisions.
If anyone has material I can use please scan it, DON'T reduce it!! Leave that to me, as it screws the quality up. Yahoo can handle large files!! I have a fast connection so the larger the files the better for the final pages for me.
The above site is going to cover all the old NCB pits as well as any I can uncover pre NCB. This will be a comprehensive UK coal site when done.
I'm still "toying" with ideas, anyone can input any ideas they like, just check the site as is at the moment and let me know.
ALL materials/photos/booklets/maps etc will be acknowledged to the owner!!!! I don't use someones material without acknowledgents!!
You can use the email address on this site to send material to me. To stop "automatic phishers" I'll post it here written out wojjer at yahoo dot com.
All help is appreciated to preserve our heritage.
Thanks in advance.

I have done several templates this weekend, far from finished though. As soon as I have a few dozen templates finished, I'll start replacing pages on the site. Doubt it will much before Christmas though.
Also been sorting through my paper files and reorganising them ready for the site. A lot of work ahead of me!
