Anyone know anything about this old colliery, sited near Manor Top, nr Woodthorpe housing estate. Ref'd in list of mines in 1908, 1918, but seems to have gone by Nationalisation. Owned by Nunnery Co, worked Flockton & Silkstone, over 300 men there in 1908. Anyone know opening/closing dates? , any info, any photo's, or anecdotes etc etc
