Has anyone ever heard of a dragline operation removing 140m deep overburden? What is the deepest opencast mine you know?

I recall being told that the Anglers Opencast mine at Wintersett near Wakefield in Yorkshire was one of the deepest in Europe at the time of it being worked in the 1980s, but I am afraid that I can't remember the depth, however I do know that an opencast in Scotland was worked to a depth of 215 metres.
